Parent contacts the schools through the Student Welfare Officer.
parent is given admissions form and a folder of information about the
schools. Parent is shown around school (if present in person.
Note: before giving a prospective parent the application for, the
Student Welfare Officer will check grade numbers and available space in a
particular class. Parents will be informed if the grade level is
closed for new admissions.

Parent completes and submits an application form. The student
Welfare Officer receives all relevant documentation including a
student's past school reports.
A time for the sitting of entry tests is made. Admissions will
close at the end of the school year.

explains the past rate required for a student to be considered for
enrollment.
Entrance tests will be in
Arabic, English and Mathematics.
Pass rate required:

Elementary school - Grades 1-5
50% pass rate

Middle School
Grades 6-8 55% pass rate

**High School Grade 9-12 60% pass rate
** No student will be admitted
to grad 10 unless the student has been enrolled in the IGCSE program, or
scores a very high mark in the entrance tests, especially in English.
Parents are reminded that the passing of the entrance test is only one
of a number of areas that the schools will assess the suitability of a
student.

Entrance test are graded and results given to Student welfare
Officer. If the student has failed to meet the minimum
requirements the Student Welfare Officer will inform the parents after
contacting the scheduling a meeting with the specific head of school to
discuss or show the test papers to the parents if they so wish.

Students who pass the entrance test are interviewed by the
boys/girls head of school/elementary coordinator. Note is taken of
their motivation, attitude and disciplinary record. An interview
is mandatory if the entrance test results are on or just below the grade
level bench mark.

In consultation with the
principal, the boys/girls head of school/elementary coordinator review the
parents and their child's application and either

Offer the student a place
in the respective grade (if there is a place available).

decline the application
on specific grounds which are given to the parents

Give a tentative place
based on the availability of space in a prospective grade. A
student may be placed on a wait list. A parent may be required
to sigh a declaration form if the student has specific academic
needs.

If the student is accepted,
parents and student must sign the schools code of ethics. If the
parents or the student will not agree to all the items on the code, the
offer of admission will be rescinded.

Girl's/Boy's head of school/ elementary coordinator place the
student in an age appropriate class that has less numbers than another
class. No allowance will be made for parent or student personal
preference.
