It was one of the Schools’ founding objectives to be come one of the most distinguished Schools by providing excellent educational services and military training. Military training helps a lot in the process of developing personality, discipline and physical strength for students in Grades nine and ten. 

The Schools have prepared a military training programme that is supervised by the Royal Oman Police (Special Tasks Department).  This training is deeply concerned about youth behaviour and it plants a spirit of service and discipline in their general life. During the training it becomes more practical and students gain proper military skills as future support for serving their beloved country under the wise guidance of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.   

اختارت مدارس الصحوة منذ إنشائها التدريب الانضباطي العسكري لطلاب الصفين التاسع والعاشر إيماناً من القائمين على هذه المؤسسة التربوية بأهمية هذا النهج في بناء شخصية الطلاب وتنمية مهاراتهم البدنية والفكرية والسلوكية .

وقد أعدت إدارة المدارس منهجاً عملياً للتدريب بإشراف قيادة شرطة المهام الخاصة بشرطة عمان السلطانية ، وهذا المنهج يوجه الشباب نحو الخصال الحميدة ، ويكسبهم القوة والعزيمة ، والمهارات العسكرية المتنوعة ، ويعودهم على الانضباط ، ويغرس فيهم حب الوطن ، والتضحية في سبيل رفعة شأنه ، ليكونوا شباباً نافعين يساهمون في مسيرة البناء تحت القيادة الحكيمة لحضرة صاحب الجلالة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد المعظم ـ حفظه الله ورعاه ـ .
