The Sultanate of Oman is located on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula with the Gulf of Oman to the east and the Indian Ocean to the south. Oman is considered the jewel amongst the Gulf States as it has a lot to offer in scenic beauty and recreation. It is a fast developing country with a tropical climate combining rugged mountains, panoramic beaches and striking desert landscapes.

I have yet to meet anyone who does not have fond memories of living in Oman or who continues to enjoy their current lifestyle. A good book to read is the Lonely Plant “The Arabian Peninsula”
